AlgiSoil was born from the curiosity of friends and a shared desire to create something genuinely useful.
We came from different areas of agriculture, but we were seeing the same changes: drought, water scarcity, and declining soil health. Often over a glass of wine, we kept asking what we could build as a real response.
We wanted to develop a solution grounded in science, tested in real conditions, and genuinely useful for farmers.
Perhaps it is no coincidence that we are all Scouts: when we see a problem, we want to do something about it. That is how conversations became a shared mission — and that mission became AlgiSoil.

I grew up around farming — that background shaped how I see agriculture: not as an industry to optimize, but as a system to understand. Climate change made the question of soil health urgent. Together with Luca and our team, we work with researchers and farmers to restore what modern agriculture has been slowly depleting, through science-backed, alginite-based soil amendments. Regenerative agriculture is not just our product category. It's our mission.

A trained viticulturist and winemaker — agriculture has never been just part of my work, it has always been closely woven into my life. I've seen first-hand how quickly the conditions growers work in are changing. It is important to me that we build not only what we create, but also how we create it — the way we think, the culture of our team, and the values that guide our decisions.

Good soil isn't just a resource — it's the foundation of everything. Working across both the private and public sectors, I specialized in mastering complex organizational structures and navigating EU grants and funding systems. My mission is to ensure our vision for regenerative agriculture is backed by a rock-solid financial strategy.
CTO — Product Development & Field Validation
As a chemical and biochemical engineer, I focus on how synthetic chemical procedures can be replaced by biotechnology and natural living systems. Our goal is not to deplete the soil's complex biological ecosystem with harsh chemicals, but to complement, nourish, and support its regeneration.
Logistics & Distribution — Horticulture Coordinator
Currently studying Commerce and Marketing while working on our family farm as the third generation involved in fruit production. My personal goal is to connect farmers' practical knowledge with scientific expertise, so we can develop effective solutions to today's agricultural challenges.
